Mind Map your text book

The first thing that caught my eye while reading this article is the steps to really map your thoughts on the text book. The first one is browsing though your text book and seeing how it's set up and the layout of the chapters. I think this is a great idea to understand how to find the information you are looking for. I also like the idea of mind mapping the information you already know about the subject as it makes you think about what information you don't know and want to know about the subject. The next step I see helpful for me because I am a very visually learner is to map out the details with pictures, sounds like a great way to learn new martial. I recommend. reading this article to get a clear idea on using your text book.
