I really liked the information on the page “Six ways to become fascinated by “Boring” text”. I have a very hard time reading and retaining things out of a text book. Questioning the author and trying to predict what he/she is going to explain next, I feel will be a very good way to keep my interest in what I am reading. This article was short and simple. It really opened my eyes about text books. Ib>I usually have a hard time trying to really focus on what I am reading. I really enjoyed the part where it states "Realize that this topic is so interesting that people have spent their entire professional lives studying it." That has opened a whole new door for me.

Definitely going to use these tips the next time I am reading a textbook.
