Creating a Workschool Balance - a College Student Perspective

Planning and organization is key!
Shanell McCaden, College Freshman

This topic stood out to me the most since I am a full time Certified Nursing Assistant, student and mother of two. It is very hard to find a balance in making sure your children are taken care of while you try to focus on school work and make sure you get an adequate amount of rest for work. I'm the type of woman who loves to plan as many steps ahead as possible, and with this forum I was able to come up with my own schedule. In doing this, I'm hoping to be successful in school, maintain a high GPA, graduate with honors, make the deans list and most importantly make sure I keep my goals and personal life in tack but in a timely manner. I'm hoping to be able to have enough time to tend to my children, be the best I can be at work and further my career all in one.
