It was bright and easy to follow with a simple layout. It explained what the problems were and how to combat them. It also explained what the bad habits look like so you can tell if you have a good or bad habit in each area. It was great to have a straight forward and easy to read material.

Listening is a must

Wow, I had no idea there where so many ways to be disrespectful to a speaker. This sure opened my eyes. I'm glad there are guidelines to changing this bad behavior.It's true nobody is perfect, but surely someone who has the courage to stand up and speak deserves our respect and attention to listen.

There are a lot of reasons we can struggle to listen. Some was this article shows us to be better listeners is to find ways to be interested, judge the content and not the delivery, listen for ideas instead of just facts, try to use multiple note taking strategies rather than just one, try to be an active listener including body language, try to not be distracted so easily, have an open mind, and try not to tune out.
