This document presents us with very easy to follow tips to annotate text. We are first given what a text annotation is and it tells us different types of annotation you can do within the text. Next it tells you what the annotations can help you with, such as understanding, remembering, for help with texts, and help you put ideas into your own words.

Towards the end it tells us how to text annotate. Here it shows you how to skim through chapters and the introductions and conclusions and then chunk the paragraphs together to read two and then stop and process with it and that your annotations make sense to YOU. Based of your annotations, you can go back and read them and ask yourself questions based on the information given. This information is very useful for when you are having trouble understanding a texts reading and so the annotating can help me understand what i am trying to process and put it in my own words.
