I found these tips very helpful. I liked how easy they were to understand and they had many good points in each point. I will definitely be putting these to use in my listening skills. Thanks again!

Listening vs. Hearing

I like how the document demonstrated the difference between good listeners and bad listeners. It made me realize I have a lot of bad listening habits and I really need to break those habits.

I allow myself to get distracted very easily with whatever I'm doing, especially when I'm in class and the teacher is giving a lecture. Usually happens with one of my teachers, the rest I have no problem listening to. I don't know why, but I think it's because I feel like I already know how to do whatever shes talking about but when it comes down it, I have no clue!

One of the suggestions is filtering out distractions and listen closely for for information that might be useful. I think those are good suggestions and I'll have to give them a try on Tuesday!
