Barriers on Concentration
Crafton Hills College, Yucipa, CA
This section is all about the different types of barriers that block out the build up of concentration. For example, being hungry will hinder your ability to study, since your body and mind is more focused on eating than on studying. Also being tired can really affect your studying capabilities. So this section really helps the reader identify what you can do to build and develop concentration and to identify the barriers and how to overcome them.

This has helped me a lot because it has given me ways, or rather steps to take to improve my concentration and things to avoid while trying to study so it does not break my study time (Concentration). It has given me ideas on what to do for the next time I study. I even printed this page out in order to keep it in my binder so I can remember these step.

CONCENTRATION. This great resource goes over concentration barriers, how to overcome them and how to build up your concentration. For example developing an interest in the subject you are studying and setting goals. I found this suggestion helpful. I had a tough time finding which website would make a good review for this assignment. On the other hand, it wasn't because of lack of good resources, but more of not knowing which one to choose.
That being said, I do believe this website has provided a well laid out web design and content to match. When I look for a study website it must be fast, easy to search, and good tips. This website has all three, and that is the reason I have chosen this one.

The reason I selected this site as my "favorite" site is because I instantly felt a connection to the lady in the picture, then halfway through the reading, I realized that once I identified my distractions and practiced the suggested tips, that regard would fade over time.
I also discovered that I prefer to receive information presented in the format used - because right away my senses were stimulated, and I read the material fully engaged.
This site reinforces personal accountability, because it is ultimately up to the individual to commit to learning.
