Now let me start off by saying that i am great at memorizing things, BUT I have never read an article that could help you find so many ways to rearrange your study skills -- down to the visualization strategies, rhythms, and numbers. This is good for any type of student. I thnk this should be part of a math syllabus for all classes because every student should read these facts.

For history (that is a favorite of mine )I use some of these strategeis without even knowing it: like supporting material such as timelines, maps (which I love) and tables. Another one I like about these tips was the imagery. I do imagine that I'm jumping out of C-130 on Normandy,France june 4th 1944 also known as D-Day. Not a happy drop zone.

I really liked this paper. I learned some interesting ways to read and memorize the boring side of history. I liked how there were so many options. It also gave fun techniques to help me learn more effectively.

When reading history almost everything seems to be important as well as interesting. This resource helps you to read what's important. It also helps you to memorize dates which is something I have a hard time doing. I will be able to use this once I have a history class.

Oh, yeah... I remember that...

Hmm, my World History teacher told me these steps... never stuck though. But the SQ3R thing has shown up twice now and I am really using these tips now, so thanks.
