I have finished taking a look at this article, and I must say it speaks the truth very vividly. This is the perfect piece of information to give to incoming college freshman. I would encourage anyone to read this.
A guide for any class
Brett, College Freshman

In reading your guide to success in Astronomy 1 and 2 (not to mention simply in college itself) I found myself seeing many of the things that have been working well for me in college. Dr. Theys touched on many factors that attributed to my success in Astronomy as well as other classes I have taken. I think the first section should have its own place; made to chastise those students that simply aren't ready for college.
In the next section, each of the habits Theys states, do wonders for improving your school performance. Keeping up with the material and actually reading it--not just skimming the text--is essential for Astronomy. Those two should be enough to do well in Astronomy, but several other good ideas for academic achievement are included as well.
Overall I felt it was an excellent guide of how to do well in college, and that is all that I could see to critique on it; make it slightly more geared how to excel in Astronomy.
