I found this to be very useful for long term projects. On the calculator you can put in your start and due dates. The calculator will help you plan out the incremental steps to getting the project done and provide you with valuable information about each of the steps. This could be very useful for the beginning student to use to help lay out a completion plan for getting the project done. It will help eliminate the procrastination of completing the assignment the night before it is due. It assigns dates to get each individual part of the assignment done and even sends you email reminders of which parts need to be done by date. The information provided for each step teaches the student what they need to be considering for each step and how to develop their thesis or theme through hints and tips provided for each step. This is a tool I would use and I would recommend it to any of my students with long term projects to complete.
